Tencate to Depart HPS, Join Company’s Advisory Board

WASHINGTON, DC - Dan Boston, President of Health Policy Source, Inc. (HPS), announced today that effective July 1, 2018 Monica Tencate, Vice President & Principal of HPS, will be stepping down from her role as an owner and officer of the company. She will, however, stay on through the end of the year as a member of the company’s newly-created Advisory Board.

“Monica founded HPS nearly two decades ago, and she intimately understands the nuances of a boutique operation such as ours,” explained Boston, “and to be able to continue having the benefit of her insights for HPS and our clients is extremely valuable.” “I look forward to continuing to work with her as a friend and colleague.”

"Speaking both professionally and personally, it has been an honor and privilege to work alongside Dan, our phenomenal staff, and amazing clients over the past 17 years,” stated Tencate. “I am extremely proud of the value we have created together for our clients and I look forward to watching HPS continue to flourish and grow.”

HPS couples professional and technical expertise with creative solutions to meet the healthcare objectives of a wide range of clients, from private and publicly held companies, to national trade associations. A ‘boutique’ firm, HPS provides hands-on, personalized service to an array of clients, with needs ranging from policy, strategy to specific advocacy agendas tailoring them to meet the individual needs of each client.

Editor’s Note: Service-wise, there will be no day-to-day client management changes resulting from this promotion. However, Kathy Severs will assume the operational functions that Ms. Tencate was managing for HPS. If there are any questions about any of these changes, please contact Dan Boston directly.
